LOUDSPEAKER SETUP

Does High Sensitivity in Loudspeakers offer better Sound?

This is a question that really stands out in my mine right now (after listening to a loudspeaker).  In our mines, when we hear the term “high sensitivity” in loudspeakers,The first thing that comes to mine is efficiency, low wattage and detail.  We think about hearing all that low level detail that is lurking in a audio track.  But really, is that a good thing?  After performing a number of test, I came to a realization that high sensitivity loudspeakers may not be the choice for certain types of recordings, what do I mean by that?

If you are someone who enjoys listening to classical music or voice lectures, you may want to go with a different type of loudspeakers.  To start with, lets go with voice.  The human voice has a audio range, roughly from 200 Hz to 3000 Hz.  This range does not require an highly sensitivity

The Solution

This is why it is so important to have loudspeakers that can reproduce that level of sound.  You can have a great sound audio components (like a amplifier, per amp and the CD Player) but if your loudspeakers are not at the level they should be, you will never truly experience that type of emotional sound.  This is why it is so important to design loudspeakers that can give you access to that experience.  Regardless of size, the loudspeaker should be able to give the listener close as possible full range of sound that should reproduce all the instruments in a recording.  Should faithfully be able to reproduce all the instruments in a recording.   This is something that is really difficult to do, especially with small speakers. This is why I have taken the time and effort to developed smaller loudspeakers that gets the most performance from small to med size rooms and listening areas.
