Beyond Home Cinema is a division of MODVO. The idea of this site is actually an extent ion of from the founder Lorenzo W (Founder of MODVO). Many don’t know that Lorenzo started out building home theater speakers in the late 90’s, from 1999 -
The Ideal
If its one thing Lorenzo is know for, it would be his experience in build passive subwoofer systems and bass modules. His knowledge in loudspeaker design offers goes beyond sound and function, it comes down to appreciation of music and to represent the material and play honor to these recordings that the engineers that spent hours in mixing and mastering these audio tracks. Just like every detail that is added to a track by the engineer that he or she at tented for you to hear), we want to hear and experience that as well.
As you can see, we are not new name in the audio business, we have been around the block Our experience in building loudspeaker officially span now nearly 20 years! While many haven’t heard of us, you can assure that people who have used our products found them reliable and use to create and monitor audio content by individual and small business owners.

Our Purpose and Important In Theater Sound
When it comes to home theater, we take a different approach in the way we deliver sound. Our main focus is not to boon you out of the theater, but rather add that fine detail and resolution that is offend lose or overlooked in films. That find detail like someone kissing lips pressing together, or the sound of finger tips picking up a coin. In home theater we believe the dialog in a film is the most important factor. The dialog in a film makes up 70 percent of the sound in a movies. The dialog is what draws you into the film and sets the whole tone of the movie. It also deliverers a mood and feeling you have in the movie, something that you can only get when the sound of the speakers are done correctly.
Ear Fatigue
Audio fatigue is probably one for the majors problems that some loudspeakers face. When the sound is harsh or excessively loud at certain frequencies, this causes our ears to get confuse and lose interests in the film and pay less attention. This cause us to lose all the detail and pay less attention to the plot or storyline. This is why we design loudspeakers that are a bit more balance than traditional home cinema speakers. A more balance speaker is easy to listen too over a long period of time.

We will continue to design loudspeakers that can achieve a level of sound that is acceptable to those how enjoy music. After years and years of building loudspeakers, I have came to the fact that it is not about the fancy drivers or cabinet designs, its about going back to the basics and what sound good to the ear. Its about recreating sound that is accurate or very close to the instruments that you hear. How an instrument really sound and how it resonates and decay once it is played. To me, this plays a major factor on how music playback is heard.The whole goal of listening to music is having a pair of loudspeakers that can not only reproduce the sound accurately, but in a way that it pleasant to the ears and blends into your listening environment. In a way where you hear the music and not the speakers. This is the goal that I remain myself off whenever I design a loudspeaker.

I would like to contribute my Knowledge in loudspeaker design to al my products that I build and in hope of achieving a level of sound that goes beyond the average audio equipment, but into something that is personal, that bring joy to your ears and a unbelievable experience that can only be enjoyed weather you are at home or in a commercial environment.
